Evangelism is Not Always About Preaching to Crowds

Many think evangelism means standing on a street corner with a microphone. While that’s one way, most evangelism happens in everyday conversations—over coffee, in a taxi, during a phone call, or through acts of kindness.

Jesus evangelized in many ways:

  • He spoke to the Samaritan woman one-on-one (John 4).
  • He ate with sinners and tax collectors (Luke 19).
  • He healed the sick and then revealed God’s kingdom (Mark 2).

Sometimes, a simple word of encouragement, a prayer, or sharing your testimony can plant a seed that the Holy Spirit will grow.
